- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
- Create compelling and impactful storytelling content for various platforms, including press releases, social media, website, and internal communications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure coverage and promote the organization's brand.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance the organization's reputation and thought leadership in the healthcare industry.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the organization, responding to media inquiries and coordinating interviews.
- Support crisis communication efforts by developing messaging and coordinating responses with leadership.
- Develop and manage communication materials, such as fact sheets, talking points, and FAQs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication and public relations.
- Plan and execute events and other promotional activities to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage the organization's social media presence and engage with followers and influencers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and manage online reviews and respond to feedback to maintain a positive online reputation.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for awards, speaking engagements, and other recognition for the organization and its leaders.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Public Relations And Communications, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including Experience With Media Relations And Crisis Communications.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Digital And Social Media Platforms And Strategies.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
