Job Description

You will work with data engineers and architects to establish secure and performant data architectures, enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of data platforms, repositories, or models for structured and unstructured data. Design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution. Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with architecture, security, and quality guidelines and standards. You will collaborate and communicate with project team, peers, engineers, and data scientists regarding your project progress and issue resolution. You will define and lead portions of project requirements for data exchanges and business requirements with your internal and external teams.

Job Qualifications

Bringing your knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, SQS, Kinesis, EKS, and EMR).
Working with data lake formats such as Parquet and Delta Lake.
Clear understanding of database technologies, data structures, and management systems that will help your team succeed.
Understanding the Databricks and Apache Spark platforms.
Managing your infrastructure using frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, ands ECR.
