In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support and consulting services to our clients, utilizing your extensive knowledge and skills in high performance computing. Provide technical support and consulting services to clients utilizing high performance computing.
Utilize extensive knowledge and skills in high performance computing to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for clients and internal team members.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that meet client needs and requirements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in high performance computing to continuously improve services and processes.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their understanding and utilization of high performance computing technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their continued satisfaction and identify potential areas for growth.
Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all security protocols, particularly in relation to clients with a DOE Q clearance.
Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise, and providing support to other team members as needed.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In High Performance Computing (Hpc) Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Hpc Architecture, Network Topology, And Parallel Computing Frameworks. They Should Also Have Experience In Configuring And Maintaining Hpc Clusters And Storage Systems.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As An Hpc Technical Support Consultant, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Analytical Skills To Quickly Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Effective Solutions To Improve System Performance And Reliability.
Doe Q Clearance: A Doe Q Clearance Is A Highly Sought-After Security Clearance Issued By The U.s. Department Of Energy. It Requires A Thorough Background Check And Is Necessary For Accessing Classified Information And Working On Sensitive Projects. The Candidate Should Already Possess A Doe Q Clearance Or Be Able To Obtain One In A Timely Manner.
On-Site Support Experience: The Job Requires The Candidate To Be Based In Livermore, Ca And Provide On-Site Technical Support To Customers. Therefore, Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Where They Have Provided On-Site Support And Worked Closely With Customers, Is Highly Desirable.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Have The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Build Strong Relationships With Customers.
