Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Personal Systems Software Engineer Intern to join the Hewlett-Packard (HP) team. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter, eager to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with a team of professionals.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with programming languages such as Java, C# and/or Python, and knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software applications for HP systems.
Work collaboratively with other software engineers to design, implement and test software solutions.
Analyze customer requirements and develop software applications to meet their needs.
Develop innovative approaches to problem-solving and software development.
Utilize programming languages such as Java, C# and/or Python to create software solutions.
Maintain code integrity and organization.
Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely solutions.
Provide technical support and training for users.
Test and validate software applications.
Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
