Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance for Hewlett-Packard/HP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing opportunities and define project scope and objectives.
Perform market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Monitor and track supplier performance, costs, and delivery schedules to identify areas for improvement.
Proactively identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external suppliers.
Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on sourcing initiatives and present recommendations for improvement.
Lead and manage sourcing projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sourcing processes and strategies.
Foster a culture of operational excellence and cost consciousness within the organization.
Train and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
