We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team at HOAG. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing patient-centered care and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience in mental health to provide quality care to patients as well as their families.The qualifications for this position include a current RN license in the state of California, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and a minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Providing patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patient behavior to ensure quality of care.
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when needed.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
