Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional care to cardiothoracic surgery patients.
2. Demonstrate commitment to providing the highest standards of patient safety.
3. Utilize interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills to ensure positive outcomes.
4. Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.
5. Maintain current RN licensure in the State of California.
6. Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
7. Monitor patient progress and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
8. Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.
9. Participate in quality improvement efforts.
10. Participate in research related to cardiothoracic surgery, as needed.
