Clinical Nurse - NICU

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a Clinical Nurse in our NICU, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care to our tiniest patients and their families during their most critical moments. We are looking for someone with a strong background in neonatal nursing and a passion for working with infants and their families. 1. Provide specialized and compassionate care to newborn infants in the NICU.
2. Monitor vital signs and assess the overall health and well-being of each patient.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Educate and support parents and families on the care of their newborn and provide emotional support during difficult times.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
6. Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and follow infection control protocols.
7. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in electronic medical records accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Stay up-to-date on current practices, techniques, and technologies in neonatal nursing and implement them in patient care.
9. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and team members.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
11. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the NICU team.
12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
13. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
14. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
15. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating teamwork, respect, and professionalism.
