We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant - Imaging Center to join our team and help us provide high quality care to our patients.The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant and be certified in radiology and phlebotomy. In addition, the successful applicant should have excellent communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for helping others. Responsibilities:
- Assisting radiologists with patient imaging
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Ensuring patient files are complete and up to date
- Administering injections and medications to patients as directed by the radiologist
- Preparing and administering medical equipment
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
- Assisting with clerical and administrative duties related to imaging center operations
- Updating patient files with current medical information
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Communicating with patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Complying with all safety standards and HIPAA regulations
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology
Proficiency In Microsoft Office Applications
High School Diploma Or Ged
Ability To Maintain Confidentiality
Completion Of Medical Assistant Training Program
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Certification
