Job Description

Works directly with business leaders to understand the business needs, critical path, and timeline to meet project goals. Develops business intelligence solutions to fulfill short- and long-term priorities with solutions ranging from traditional, to more modern, interactive reporting tools. Leverages an analytic mindset to develop visualization of key trends and insights for decision making Communicates/interacts with business partners up to the VP level. Collaborates with development team, project managers, and business analysts to determine requirements and develop solutions to meet business goals Develops relational and dimensional data models to support reporting and analytics (SQL Server BI Platform). Assists leadership with advocating for, and maturing the BI program using the latest methodologies as well as classic data warehouse and operational data store design patterns.

Job Qualifications

Expert SQL development skills including, but not limited to, table design, queries, table-valued functions, window functions, and index optimization
Experience designing operational data stores, data lakes, and data warehouses
Excellent understanding of SQL query plan analysis and optimization
Ability to lead Business Intelligence projects from concept to realization
