Develop and maintain an expert understanding of current market trends in crafting and home decor.
Identify and source new products that align with the company's brand and customer base.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential vendors to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
Negotiate with vendors to secure the best deals and terms for the company.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement buying strategies.
Monitor inventory levels and make purchasing decisions based on sales data and customer demand.
Attend trade shows and conferences to stay updated on industry developments and discover new products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and communicate effectively to resolve any issues or concerns.
Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling product displays and promotions.
Keep track of product performance and make adjustments to buying decisions as needed.
Ensure timely delivery of products and maintain accurate purchase orders.
Stay updated on competitor pricing and adjust purchasing decisions accordingly.
Adhere to company policies and procedures when making purchasing decisions.
Continuously evaluate and improve the overall product assortment and sourcing strategies.
Provide regular reports and updates on product performance and buying strategies to upper management.

Job Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Purchasing, Procurement, Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Negotiation And Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal.
Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Purchasing Software.
Knowledge Of Retail Industry And Trends, As Well As Experience With Inventory Management And Forecasting.
