Job Description

The Designer/Stylist designs and crafts DIY projects to be recreated by Hobby Lobby customers and designs sets and displays for various marketing platforms. Creates original crafts and/or set spaces based on art direction and needs of the client and target customer. Records detailed instructions for each project including supply lists, SKU numbers and relevant tips. Ensures crafts and/or sets are photo shoot ready. Completes all assignments on time according to art direction and the needs of the client and target customer. Maintains current knowledge of design trends. Learns new techniques, tools and mediums as required. Follows all Warehouse procedures.Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between teams. Maintains a clean and orderly work station.

Job Qualifications

Hands-on experience with a variety of craft mediums (i.e. papercrafting, sewing, floral arrangement, jewelry, calligraphy)
Professional crafting and/or styling experience preferred
A strong eye for visual composition and merchandising
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
