Job Description

Captures high-quality images with strong artistic sensibilities to satisfy a diverse array of projects. Collaborates closely with Stylists and Coordinators to meet client’s needs. Prepares for in-studio and on-location shoots by determining lighting and other requirements. Works with and directs models while on set Follows all procedures for photography equipment. Corrects color of digital photographs from photo shoots and digital art files in order to closely match real-life tones of product or original artwork according to art direction and/or the Hobby Lobby aesthetic. Prepares proofs for approval. Produces a high volume of digital images while maintaining exceptional quality. Ensures images are labeled, organized, stored, and archived appropriately upon editing completion Maintains consistent and organized digital workflow. Identifies and informs Supervisor of photography equipment maintenance needs. Prepares print and digital files based on specific job requirements.

Job Qualifications

Strong understanding of technology and equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialized software
3 to 5 years of professional photography experience
Basic understanding of design and print/web design
A solid understanding of production techniques including separation, layering, and color management
