  1. Provide technical support to clients for HSBC's applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for any technical issues and work towards finding effective solutions.
  3. Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of all applications, ensuring they meet the business needs and comply with company standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any technical problems or enhancements needed for the applications.
  5. Continuously review and improve processes and procedures for application support to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to provide innovative solutions and improve processes.
  7. Communicate technical information and updates to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, issue resolution, and application configurations.
  9. Participate in the testing and deployment of new applications or updates to existing applications.
  10. Proactively identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvements to prevent future problems.
  11. Adhere to HSBC's policies and procedures, including those related to security, confidentiality, and data protection.
  12. Provide coaching and training to team members and contribute to their professional development.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to address any technical issues related to their applications.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the overall customer experience and satisfaction with HSBC's applications.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Application Support, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Various Operating Systems (E.g. Windows, Unix, Linux) And Databases (E.g. Oracle, Sql Server).

  • Experience With Troubleshooting And Resolving Complex Technical Issues In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
