  1. Develop and implement strategies to identify and mitigate potential financial crime risks within the bank.
  2. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current risk management and control measures, and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to financial crime, and ensure the bank's policies and procedures are in compliance.
  4. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify any weaknesses or gaps in the bank's processes and systems.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to financial crime risk management.
  6. Provide training and guidance to employees on financial crime prevention and detection measures.
  7. Investigate and report any suspicious activity or potential breaches of regulations to senior management and relevant authorities.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, to stay informed of emerging risks and best practices.
  9. Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulatory bodies on the bank's financial crime risk management and compliance efforts.
  10. Continuously review and update the bank's risk management policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with industry standards and best practices.
  11. Collaborate with other departments, such as Compliance and Legal, to ensure a holistic approach to risk management and compliance.
  12. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of remedial actions taken to address identified risks.
  13. Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  14. Keep accurate and detailed records of risk assessments, investigations, and any other relevant documentation.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for all financial crime risk-related inquiries and concerns.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Risks.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Finance, Accounting, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Crime Risk Management, Preferably Within The Banking Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Crime Regulations And Laws, Including Aml, Kyc, And Sanctions Compliance.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing Teams And Implementing Effective Risk Control Measures.
