  1. Develop and implement global payroll strategies and policies in alignment with company objectives.
  2. Oversee the efficient and accurate delivery of payroll services to employees in multiple countries.
  3. Ensure compliance with local and international payroll laws and regulations.
  4. Manage a team of payroll professionals and provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Monitor and evaluate payroll processes and systems to ensure they are in line with industry best practices.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers.
  8. Manage the budget and resources for the payroll and delivery services department.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and developments, and implement changes accordingly.
  10. Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues and discrepancies.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of payroll data to relevant departments and authorities.
  12. Develop and maintain payroll-related policies, procedures, and documentation.
  13. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  14. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
  15. Represent the company in global payroll forums and conferences.
  16. Develop and maintain relationships with global payroll providers to ensure reliable and high-quality services.
  17. Provide guidance and support to local HR teams on payroll-related matters.
  18. Ensure data privacy and security in all payroll processes and systems.
  19. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  20. Continuously strive for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities within the payroll and delivery services function.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Global Payroll Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Global Payroll Operations, Preferably In A Large Multinational Organization. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Payroll Systems, Processes, And Regulations Across Different Countries.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Global Head Of Payroll And Delivery Services, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Payroll Professionals Across Multiple Locations. They Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Inspire And Motivate Their Team To Achieve Organizational Goals.

  • Knowledge Of International Payroll Regulations: With Hsbc Operating In Multiple Countries, The Global Head Of Payroll And Delivery Services Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of International Payroll Regulations, Including Tax Laws, Labor Laws, And Social Security Regulations. This Will Ensure Compliance And Minimize Any Potential Legal Risks.

  • Strategic Mindset: The Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset With The Ability To Develop And Implement Long-Term Plans For Improving Payroll Operations And Delivery Services. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing Large-Scale Projects And Driving Process Improvements To Increase Efficiency And Reduce Costs.

  • Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: The Global Head Of Payroll And Delivery Services Will Need To Work Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Hr, Finance, And Other Business Functions.
