  1. Assist in the day-to-day activities of the equity derivatives trading desk by providing data analysis and support.
  2. Conduct research and gather market data to assist in the development of trading strategies.
  3. Collaborate with team members to analyze and interpret market trends, pricing data, and other relevant information.
  4. Help to identify potential risks and opportunities in the equity derivatives market.
  5. Prepare reports and presentations on market analysis and trading performance.
  6. Utilize analytical tools and techniques to evaluate trade performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  7. Support the team in daily trade execution and monitoring of market movements.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry news and developments to inform trading decisions.
  9. Assist in the development and maintenance of trading models and algorithms.
  10. Work closely with other teams within the bank to ensure smooth operations and seamless communication.
  11. Take initiative to learn and develop new skills and knowledge in the field of finance and trading.
  12. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  13. Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Quantitative Skills: Candidates For This Role Should Possess A Strong Background In Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field. They Should Be Able To Demonstrate Proficiency In Quantitative Analysis And Modeling Techniques.

  • Familiarity With Equity Derivatives: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Equity Derivatives Products, Including Options, Futures, And Swaps. They Should Also Be Familiar With The Various Trading Strategies And Risk Management Techniques Used In Equity Derivatives Trading.

  • Programming Skills: The Role Requires Candidates To Have Strong Programming Skills, Particularly In Languages Such As Python, R, Or Matlab. They Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Well-Structured Code To Manipulate Large Datasets And Build Complex Financial Models.

  • Data Analysis Experience: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Large Datasets And Extracting Insights From Them. They Should Be Comfortable Using Tools Such As Sql, Excel, And Tableau To Manipulate And Visualize Data.

  • Team Player: The Role Involves Working Closely With A Team Of Traders, Quants, And Other Analysts. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, And Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Others To Achieve Common Goals. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure And Meet Tight Deadlines.
