- Develop and maintain documentation for mainframe applications, including system design, code changes, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of mainframe development and support.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Adhere to change management processes and procedures to ensure smooth deployment of code changes into production environments.
- Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for production incidents as needed.
- Mentor and train junior developers and new team members to help them develop their skills and contribute to the team's success.
Extensive Mainframe Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Mainframe Systems, With A Strong Understanding Of Mainframe Languages, Tools, And Technologies Such As Cobol, Db2, Cics, And Jcl.
Knowledge Of Hsbc Systems And Processes: Candidates Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Hsbc's Mainframe Systems, Processes, And Procedures To Ensure Seamless Integration And Support Of The Bank's Operations.
