- Serve as the first point of contact for clients looking to obtain a mortgage, providing a warm and professional welcome to HSBC and our mortgage services.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct initial eligibility assessments for mortgage applicants and provide guidance on next steps.
- Educate clients on various mortgage products and services offered by HSBC and help them choose the best option for their financial needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of mortgage industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all processes are in line with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other departments within HSBC to ensure a smooth and efficient mortgage application and approval process.
- Proactively communicate with clients and provide updates on the status of their mortgage application.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the mortgage experience for clients and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide knowledgeable and valuable insights to clients.
A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In The Mortgage Industry, Preferably In A Customer-Facing Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Mortgage Products, Services, And Procedures, Including Underwriting And Loan Processing.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Handle Customer Inquiries And Resolve Issues.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Relevant Software, Such As Loan Origination And Servicing Systems.
High Attention To Detail And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Deadline-Driven Environment.
