  1. Conduct research and experimentation in the field of quantum computing to develop innovative financial products and services for HSBC clients.

  3. Stay updated on the latest advancements and developments in the field of quantum computing and apply them to HSBC's research and development efforts.
  4. Analyze and interpret data from quantum computing experiments and provide insights to inform decision-making.

  6. Contribute to the writing and publishing of research papers and presentations on quantum computing in the banking industry.
  7. Communicate complex concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  8. Participate in conferences, workshops, and other industry events to represent HSBC and showcase the bank's quantum computing initiatives.
  9. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all research and development activities.
  10. Adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information and data.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members in quantum computing techniques and applications.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve HSBC's quantum computing capabilities and processes.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources for HSBC's quantum computing projects.
  14. Contribute to the development of HSBC's long-term quantum computing strategy and roadmap.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Physics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field With A Focus On Quantum Computing.

  • Extensive Experience In Developing And Implementing Quantum Algorithms And Protocols.

  • Knowledge Of Quantum Hardware, Including Experience With Quantum Computing Platforms Such As Ibm Q Or Rigetti.

  • Strong Programming Skills, Particularly In Languages Such As Python, C++, And Qiskit.

  • Proven Track Record Of Conducting Innovative Research And Publishing In Peer-Reviewed Journals In The Field Of Quantum Computing.
