
Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team as Procurement Specialist at Hubbell Incorporated. This individual should have a strong sense of attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for ensuring that procurement activities are efficient and effective, and that the best value is obtained for all goods and services.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. In addition to having a strong understanding of purchasing principles, the successful candidate should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ability to work collaboratively with other departments and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers is essential. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and has the ability to multi-task. Most importantly, the successful candidate should have a strong desire to grow and learn with Hubbell Incorporated.
Responsibilites:
- Monitor and analyze procurement activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Manage the procurement process from selection of suppliers to delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and develop relationships with new suppliers.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the procurement process.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to ensure best value for goods and services.
- Prepare and submit paperwork related to procurement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure all procurement needs are met.
- Provide support for any procurement related issues.
