As a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples for laboratory testing.To be successful in this role, you should have an understanding of laboratory procedures and OSHA safety regulations. Responsibilities:

1. Collect and process blood samples for laboratory testing according to established protocols and procedures
2. Maintain accurate and complete records of specimens collected and processed
3. Maintain equipment and work area according to OSHA safety regulations
4. Follow infection control guidelines and procedures to ensure patient safety
5. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare team, and laboratory personnel
6. Utilize effective problem solving skills to resolve issues that may arise during laboratory testing
7. Provide assistance and support to other healthcare staff as needed
8. Assist with training and orientation of new staff members
9. Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care and customer service
