Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Services

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and professional care to patients with mental health needs • Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment • Assess patient progress and provide health education • Communicate with multidisciplinary team members to develop effective treatment plans • Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital regulations • Participate in clinical and educational activities to stay up-to-date on best practices • Maintain patient confidentiality and respect patient autonomy • Advocate for the rights and safety of patients at all times • Respond to patient emergencies and provide crisis intervention • Monitor and assess patient environment to ensure safety • Work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate care • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies
