Job Description

At Huntington Hospital, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Transportation Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients, equipment, and personnel within the hospital and to various locations throughout the area. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in the operation of a variety of vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles, as well as a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.The ideal candidate for this position must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working with a wide variety of individuals, including patients, staff, and other healthcare providers. A successful Transportation Technician must also be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in order to ensure all logistical and safety requirements are met. Responsibilities:

Ensure safe and efficient transportation of patients, equipment, and personnel within the hospital and to various locations throughout the area.
Operate a variety of vehicles, including wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
