Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team at IKEA and become an ambassador for our brand. Our ideal candidate will have a friendly attitude and be able to effectively communicate with customers, while also having a passion for helping others. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers, answering inquiries, resolving issues and providing helpful information.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of customer service experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should also be able to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. Additionally, you should be an organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills. If you have an interest in home furnishings and design, that’s a plus!

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet customers warmly and ensure they are comfortable and aware of available services.
  2. Answer customers’ inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Resolve customer service issues or escalate them as needed.
  4. Monitor customer satisfaction and handle customer complaints.
  5. Provide helpful information to customers regarding IKEA products and services.
  6. Suggest potential products or services to customers based on their needs.
  7. Upsell products and services when appropriate.
  8. Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are addressed in a timely manner.
  9. Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers.
  10. Maintain an organized and up-to-date customer database.
  11. Keep track of customer preferences and contact details.
  12. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with customers.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  14. Remain knowledgeable about IKEA products, services, and promotions.
