Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and organized Logistics Operations Specialist to join the IKEA team and help maintain our global supply chain. This role will be based in our corporate office and will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations.The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for logistics and an understanding of the entire supply chain process. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods throughout the global supply chain.
  2. Monitor and analyze logistics operations to ensure compliance with IKEA policies and procedures.
  3. Manage logistics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the logistics industry.
  5. Evaluate and optimize existing supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Develop and implement systems for tracking inventory, orders, and shipments.
  7. Monitor and report on logistics KPIs to ensure operational objectives are met.
  8. Resolve any supply chain issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations on logistics operations and performance.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
