  1. Oversee all aspects of the logistics operations within the IKEA supply chain, including coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and managing transportation.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our stores and customers.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential issues or delays in the supply chain to ensure efficient and effective flow of goods.
  4. Evaluate and improve logistics processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including tracking shipments, inventory levels, and transportation costs.
  6. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  7. Work closely with the warehouse team to optimize storage and distribution of goods.
  8. Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential cost savings.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics operations and make recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  12. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
  13. Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the IKEA values and promoting a positive image of the company to customers, suppliers, and partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment.

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Wms.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Operational Inefficiencies.
