- Oversee all aspects of the logistics operations within the IKEA supply chain, including coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and managing transportation.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our stores and customers.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential issues or delays in the supply chain to ensure efficient and effective flow of goods.
- Evaluate and improve logistics processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including tracking shipments, inventory levels, and transportation costs.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to optimize storage and distribution of goods.
- Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics operations and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and standards to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying the IKEA values and promoting a positive image of the company to customers, suppliers, and partners.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment.
Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Wms.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Operational Inefficiencies.
