  1. Oversee the logistics operations of IKEA, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of goods from suppliers to stores.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve and streamline logistics processes.
  3. Collaborate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  4. Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
  6. Coordinate with transportation companies to schedule and track shipments.
  7. Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
  8. Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays in logistics operations.
  9. Train and supervise logistics team members to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  10. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on logistics operations.
  11. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
  12. Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and plan accordingly.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance the overall customer experience.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
