  1. Greet and welcome customers to the store with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  3. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  4. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  5. Ensure that all products are properly scanned and priced, and that all discounts and promotions are applied correctly.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking bags, receipt paper, and other supplies.
  7. Assist customers with finding products and navigating the store, as needed.
  8. Remain knowledgeable about IKEA products, services, and store policies in order to provide accurate information to customers.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
  10. Uphold IKEA's values and brand image by consistently providing a positive and welcoming environment for customers.
  11. Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate department, if necessary.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
  13. Adhere to all cash handling and security procedures to ensure the safety of customers and co-workers.
  14. Work closely with the sales and stock teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
  15. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing the IKEA brand.
  16. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management.
  17. Follow all safety and security policies to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Colleagues, And Superiors In A Polite And Professional Manner.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Cashier, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Processing Transactions And Ensuring Accuracy In Pricing And Inventory. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is A Crucial Qualification For This Position.
