Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Store Interior Design Manager to join our IKEA team! As a Store Interior Design Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing store interior design concepts, layouts, and displays. You’ll also be in charge of ensuring that all store designs are in line with IKEA's brand, style, and values.To be successful as our Store Interior Design Manager, you should have a background in interior design, visual merchandising, and store layout design. You should also have excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Create and implement store interior design concepts, layouts, and displays that are in line with IKEA's brand, style, and values
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including product designers, merchandisers, and store operators
  3. Manage interior design projects from conception to completion
  4. Oversee the quality control of all store designs
  5. Implement visual merchandising strategies to promote sales and optimize store traffic flow
  6. Monitor stores’ interior design trends and adjust designs accordingly
  7. Develop and implement new design strategies
  8. Ensure stores are compliant with applicable laws and regulations
  9. Train and supervise store interior design personnel
  10. Provide leadership and guidance to store interior designers
