Job Description

Are you an experienced interior design professional, passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces? If so, you may be the perfect fit for the position as Store Interior Design Manager at IKEA!In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing store interior projects to ensure IKEA's standards of functionality, safety, and aesthetic beauty are met. You will be a key part of the Store Planning and Design Team, leading all aspects of interior design and ensuring store projects are completed on time and on budget.To be successful in this position, you should have a degree in Interior Design or a related field, with significant experience working in retail store design. You should be well-versed in AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and other relevant design software. An eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of creativity are also essential for success. We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  1. Design store interiors using AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and other relevant design software to meet IKEA's standards for functionality, safety, and aesthetic beauty.
  2. Lead all aspects of interior design projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and maintaining timelines.
  3. Develop engaging customer experiences through creative interior design solutions.
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
  5. Utilize an eye for detail and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to design challenges.
  6. Work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized in order to meet deadlines.
  7. Continually assess and update store interior design projects to ensure standards are met.
