Injection Molding Process Engineer

To provide leadership to the manufacturing specialists and process technicians in achieving production, quality, safety and costs goals. To develop and optimize processes, molding and manufacturing, utilizing scientific methods and to provide the best quality at the lowest cost. Achieve departmental goals - scrap, PPH, OA, etc. Provide daily communication with production staff regarding production and quality issues. Problem solve daily production and quality issues using formal techniques to determine root cause and implement permanent corrective action. Develop and optimize molding and manufacturing processes using scientific techniques. Accurately complete all production documentation and data entry in a timely manner. Follow all 5S and safety standards and practices. Develop and manage all production documentation such as process sheets, process monitoring, PFMEA's, process flows, etc. Provide continuous improvement and cost savings ideas.
