Planner
Planner will place releases to suppliers and track the progress of those orders. This includes raw material for production and finished goods. Raw material planning to ensure production schedules can be met. Management of inventory to the extent that materials are ordered based on established minimums and maximums and overall forecast of need.Determine material quantities to order and date(s) required. Enter release data into system and release orders to suppliers. Monitor and communicate any issues with material delivery that may affect schedule. Track shipments from suppliers and delivery performance. Monitor receipt of material and inventory levels for compliance to established limits. Cycle count inventory as per management instruction.
3 + years of experience as a planner or similar position
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Background/experience in statistics a plus
