- Conduct human factors research and analysis to identify user needs and requirements for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and user-friendly designs that meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.
- Utilize human factors principles and methodologies to evaluate product usability and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate and maintain human factors engineering documentation, such as task analyses, use cases, and user interface design specifications.
- Lead and participate in usability testing and human factors validation studies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in human factors engineering, and incorporate new techniques and tools into the design process.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to understand user needs and translate them into product features and benefits.
- Communicate and present human factors engineering findings, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior human factors engineers on best practices and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to human factors engineering.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Human Factors Engineering, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Human Factors Principles And Experience Applying Them In Product Development.
Proficient In Human Factors Engineering Tools And Techniques, Such As User Research, Usability Testing, And Risk Analysis.
Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
