
Lead Scientist Materials
We are looking for an experienced Lead Scientist Materials to join Kimberly-Clark's dynamic and innovative team! As the Lead Scientist Materials, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise and passion for materials science to drive forward our materials strategy, leveraging new materials and processes to bring new and improved products to market.This is a highly-visible role that requires a collaborative mindset, a strong technical background, and the ability to develop and present compelling materials solutions to stakeholders. Our ideal candidate for this position has a PhD degree in materials science and at least 10 years of experience in industry working with materials. Responsibilities:
- Develop and present materials solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Leverage new materials and processes to bring new and improved products to market
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
- Develop technical strategies to evaluate and select materials for product development
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in materials science and industry trends
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry partners
- Provide guidance and support to junior scientists and other team members
- Prepare and present materials research reports to management
- Monitor and report on progress of materials science projects
