  1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, and merchandise.
  2. Conduct routine checks of all exits, entrances, and vulnerable areas to identify and prevent potential security threats.
  3. Identify and address any potential safety hazards within the store, such as damaged equipment or faulty security systems.
  4. Communicate effectively with store management and team members to address any security concerns or issues.
  5. Conduct regular bag checks of employees and customers to prevent theft and ensure compliance with store policies.
  6. Utilize surveillance equipment and software to monitor store activity and identify any suspicious behavior.
  7. Work closely with law enforcement and other authorities as needed to investigate any incidents or breaches of security.
  8. Create and maintain detailed reports of all security-related activities, including incidents, investigations, and training sessions.
  9. Train and educate store employees on proper security protocols and procedures to maintain a safe shopping environment.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and continuously assess and improve store security measures.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Loss Prevention Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Surveillance Techniques, Inventory Control, And Theft Prevention Strategies.

  • Strong Observational And Analytical Skills: A Successful Loss Prevention Officer Needs To Have Excellent Observational Skills To Identify Potential Theft Or Fraudulent Activity. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Data And Trends To Identify Potential Risks And Develop Strategies For Prevention.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Loss Prevention Officers Must Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment, Often With Multiple Tasks And Distractions. They Should Be Able To Remain Calm Under Pressure And Make Quick Decisions To Address Any Potential Security Threats.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: Loss Prevention Officers Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Other Team Members, Store Managers, And Law Enforcement. They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Team Members To Develop And Implement Loss Prevention Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Security Systems And Technology: Candidates Should Have Experience With Security Systems, Such As Cctv Cameras, Alarm Systems, And Access Control Systems. They Should Also Be Familiar With Inventory Tracking Systems And Other Loss Prevention Technology.
