- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the store premises at all times.
- Conduct routine patrols and surveillance to identify any potential security risks or threats.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to prevent theft and fraud.
- Investigate and report any suspicious or criminal activities to the appropriate authorities.
- Work closely with store management and team members to identify and address any security concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any security-related inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of security systems and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention strategies and techniques.
- Utilize surveillance cameras and other security equipment to monitor the store and identify any unusual or suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal authorities as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and investigations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve loss prevention efforts.
- Ensure all security equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor at all times while representing the company.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Such As Cctv Monitoring, Inventory Control, And Risk Assessment.
Previous Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In A Loss Prevention Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of Loss Prevention Procedures And Their Ability To Handle Various Security Situations.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Loss Prevention Service Specialist, The Candidate Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Both Customers And Store Employees. This Requires Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Loss Prevention Service Specialist Requires A Keen Eye For Detail. The Candidate Should Be Able To Identify Potential Theft Or Loss, And Be Able To Document And Report Any Incidents Accurately.
Ability To Work Independently: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work Independently, Often In The Early Morning Or Late Evening When The Store Is Closed. Candidates Should Be Self-Motivated And Able To Prioritize Tasks Effectively Without Direct Supervision.
