- Monitor and analyze store data to identify trends and patterns related to loss prevention.
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
- Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement to address and resolve any security concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of all loss prevention activities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, developments, and best practices related to loss prevention.
- Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on the effectiveness of loss prevention strategies.
- Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring of new loss prevention team members.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for the loss prevention team.
- Handle any escalated customer or team member concerns related to loss prevention.
- Ensure all loss prevention equipment and tools are properly maintained and functional.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws related to loss prevention.
Extensive Experience In Loss Prevention: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Relevant Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Loss Prevention Supervisor Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates, Making It Essential For Them To Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Motivate And Train Their Team.
Knowledge Of Security Systems And Protocols: A Thorough Understanding Of Security Systems And Protocols Is Crucial For A Loss Prevention Supervisor To Effectively Monitor And Respond To Potential Risks And Threats.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Store Management, And Law Enforcement When Necessary. They Should Also Have The Ability To Think On Their Feet And Make Quick Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.
