Quality Engineer, Machining

Setup new equipment and processes to effectively produce process capability requirements and, in turn, setting up control charts for critical operations to verify 100% conformance to meeting quality requirements. Operate independently with limited guidance from manager or senior engineers, and leverages relationships with internal technical experts. Serve as a Project Manager for new product launches in assembly in terms of reviewing equipment changes, new equipment procurement. Manage manufacturing engineering activities for new process and product introduction to assure schedules are met and proper equipment and tooling is available. Also identify and implement cost reductions. Develop Capital Planning Projects for Capacity, Quality, and Cost Reduction opportunities and provide effective verbal and written communication to justify.
