Assistant General Counsel - Commercial Technology

KPMG is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant General Counsel - Commercial Technology to join our legal team. This position will provide legal advice and support for KPMG’s Commercial Technology group, including providing advice on a variety of topics related to technology, such as software licensing, hardware acquisition and intellectual property. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of the technology landscape and the ability to provide legal advice and guidance to business management and executives.The ideal candidate will have a law degree, 5+ years of legal experience in the technology field, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be analytical and have the ability to identify and assess risks, and provide solutions to complex legal problems. The ideal candidate also must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders. 2. Identify and assess risks, and provide solutions to complex legal problems.

4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the technology landscape.
5. Draft and review legal documents.
6. Provide legal advice and support to business management and executives.
7. Monitor legal developments in the technology space.
8. Make recommendations to minimize legal risks.
9. Provide timely and accurate legal advice.
10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
