- Conduct research and analysis on global trade and customs regulations to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to identify and assess trade-related issues and provide customized solutions.
- Utilize data analytics tools to gather, organize, and interpret data to identify patterns and trends and make data-driven recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of trade compliance documents, including import/export declarations and duty drawback claims.
- Monitor and analyze changes in trade and customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or opportunities for clients.
- Support the development and implementation of trade strategies and procedures for clients to optimize their international trade operations.
- Communicate with clients and government agencies to resolve trade-related issues and inquiries.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within KPMG to leverage expertise and resources for client projects.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of trade and customs services.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, research, and analysis.
- Adhere to company and industry ethical standards and regulations.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Trade & Customs team through active participation in team meetings and trainings.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Data Analytics, Preferably In Trade And Customs.
Strong Knowledge Of Trade And Customs Regulations And Compliance.
Proficiency In Data Analysis Tools And Software Such As Tableau, Power Bi, Or Sql.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Data In A Clear And Concise Manner.
