KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Director to join our team as a Cyber MDR Director. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service, overseeing a team of experts in detecting and responding to cyber threats for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the cybersecurity industry.   1. Develop and manage the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service for clients, ensuring it is effective, efficient, and aligns with industry best practices.
  2. Lead a team of cybersecurity experts and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality MDR services to clients.
  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MDR service, including monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats and incidents.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance the MDR service.
  5. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the cybersecurity industry, and proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities for clients.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying areas for improvement and creating development plans.
  7. Communicate with clients to understand their unique needs, address any concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction with the MDR service.
  8. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of the MDR service, including key metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
  9. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the MDR service and attract new clients.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and company policies related to cybersecurity and data protection.

  • Experience In Managed Detection And Response (Mdr): Kpmg's Specialist Director, Cyber Mdr Should Have A Strong Background In Mdr Services, Including Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Mdr Programs For Clients Across Various Industries.

  • Business Acumen: In Addition To Technical Expertise, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Business Acumen And The Ability To Understand And Align Cybersecurity Strategies With The Overall Business Objectives Of Clients. This Includes Experience In Budgeting, Resource Allocation, And Project Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: A Specialist Director, Cyber Mdr At Kpmg Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders, Build Relationships With Clients, And Act As A Trusted Advisor On Cybersecurity Matters.
