
Lead, Material Program Management

- Develop and implement material management strategies to ensure efficient and timely procurement, delivery, and utilization of materials for various programs.
- Lead a team of material program managers and provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand program requirements and develop material plans that align with project timelines and budget.
- Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to maintain optimal levels to meet production demands.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to material supply, and develop contingency plans to minimize impact on program timelines.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide updates on material status, delivery schedules, and any issues or delays.
- Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track material spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive overall program efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in material management, and implement new processes and technologies to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
- Participate in meetings and presentations with senior management to provide updates on material program performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Material Program Management, Preferably In A Defense Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Government Regulations And Procurement Processes.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Suppliers And Internal Teams.
Proven Leadership Experience In Managing A Team And Driving Results In A Fast-Paced Environment.
