
Monitor Technician
Works in a cooperative manner, which fosters relations between employees and patients, patients’ families, visitors, fellow employees, and the medical staff. Resolves conflicts and problem-solves. Assists in the provision of quality patient care through monitoring of clinical data. Receives orders and enters patient data into monitoring system and assigns transmitter for remote telemetry. Enters orders and other pertinent information into the computerized Patient Care System. Assists as needed with tracking equipment. Uses proper procedure for securing supplies from other areas. Prioritizes work load to best meet both patient and unit needs.
