- Oversee and manage all legal aspects of global sourcing initiatives for Lexmark International.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and advise on global sourcing strategies and initiatives.
- Conduct legal analysis and provide guidance on global sourcing laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to global sourcing activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to global sourcing, including but not limited to trade laws, intellectual property rights, and labor laws.
- Advise on potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies for global sourcing projects.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in global sourcing laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Participate in and lead negotiations for global sourcing contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal counsel and support to other departments as needed.
- Conduct trainings and workshops on global sourcing legal requirements and best practices for employees and stakeholders.
- Handle any legal disputes or issues related to global sourcing activities.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel and manage budget for legal services related to global sourcing.
- Ensure all global sourcing activities align with the company's overall legal and ethical standards.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with external parties related to global sourcing.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Corporate Legal Role, Preferably With A Focus On Global Sourcing And Supply Chain Management
In-Depth Knowledge Of International Trade Laws, Contract Negotiation, And Intellectual Property Rights
Strong Understanding Of Global Sourcing And Supply Chain Best Practices, Including Risk Management And Compliance
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
