Job Description

Responsible for leading LM Facilities Engineering construction projects from their completed designs to project completion in alignment with Lockheed Martin’s standards and expectations. Involvement in all phases of the design stage offering suggestions, identifying key code/execution issues and offering input for streamlining processes. Provide field supervision of contractors. Focus on safety performance of contractors. Plan, execute and manage the people, resources and scope of projects and make projections about risks and uncertainties. Perform inspections for conformance with design drawings, applicable codes/standards/quality, and company policies/procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Background in construction management, facilities management, building science, industrial/manufacturing, and/or related work experience

  • Ability to ask penetrating questions, identify unstated assumptions, and resolve personnel conflicts

  • Mechanical aptitude - HVAC, Plumbing, etc.
