The successful candidate will manage an organization responsible for interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as well as managing the performance of financial and operational audits to determine the reliability and effectiveness of financial, operational, and control systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. May be required to negotiate rate agreements and impact of changes to disclosed practices. Oversees the preparation of reports of findings and recommendations to management. May be responsible for advising and providing training to company personnel on the application of government procurement laws and regulations to important phases of work.
