  1. Utilize human-centered design principles to develop user-friendly and efficient designs for defense and aerospace products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure the successful integration of human factors into product designs.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify user needs and preferences, and incorporate these findings into design solutions.
  4. Apply knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards to ensure compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
  5. Create and review design documentation, including user requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  6. Use design software and tools to create prototypes and mock-ups for user testing and evaluation.
  7. Analyze user feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs to improve usability and functionality.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in human factors design to continuously improve processes and products.
  9. Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
  11. Adhere to project timelines and budget constraints to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
  12. Maintain a strong focus on quality and attention to detail to ensure designs meet the highest standards.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on human factors design, providing guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  14. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Human Factors Design, Usability Testing, And/Or User Research.

  • Strong Understanding Of Human Factors Principles, Including User-Centered Design, Task Analysis, And Cognitive Psychology.

  • Proficiency In Relevant Software Programs And Tools, Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq, Or Sketch.

  • Previous Experience Working In The Defense Or Aerospace Industry, With A Focus On Designing For Complex Systems And Environments.
