  1. Develop and implement strategies for efficient procurement of materials for aerospace and defense projects.
  2. Oversee inventory management to ensure materials are available when needed and minimize excess stock.
  3. Work closely with suppliers to negotiate and maintain cost-effective pricing.
  4. Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand material requirements and timelines.
  5. Monitor and track material orders to ensure on-time delivery and address any delays or issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material transactions and inventory levels.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.

  10. Develop and maintain reports and metrics to track material usage, costs, and performance.
  11. Lead and mentor a team of material coordinators and support staff.
  12. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
  13. Conduct regular audits of materials and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supply chain management.
  15. Collaborate with project managers to forecast material needs and plan for future projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Material Management Role, Preferably Within The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes, Inventory Management, And Supply Chain Operations.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.

  • Experience With Government Regulations And Contract Requirements, Such As Far And Dfar, As Well As Knowledge Of Itar And Ear Regulations.
