Events Coordinator
LA Times is seeking an Events Coordinator for the Los Angeles Times FOOD BOWL festival. Recruiting restaurants and food businesses to take part in FOOD BOWL events. Registration management – Managing the restaurant CMS system and monitoring registration processes both with internal departments and with program registrants. Responding to customer queries in a timely manner and troubleshooting and issues in consultation with the Associate Director and Event Manager. Assist in the drafting and the delivery of email communications to databases and relevant parties. Support the Event Manager with marketing material and collateral. Assist the Event Manager with planning for launch events, feature events and the Night Market.
Experience with online content management systems
Experience in event planning and/or logistics
An understanding and background in the hospital and outdoor events industry is highly desirable
Minimum of 2 years experience in an event management or similar role
